I have a single JTAG cable (Platform II USB) connected to a JTAG chain with a single device, a Xilinx Kintex-7 FPGA. Is it allowed to have multiple instances of Vivado Lab tools connected to the same target?
For example, one instance of Vivado Lab running interactively with a Debugging session and another instance running non-interactively (via command line) running a set scripts to interact with JTAG-AXI Master. With the interactive session you can observe/debug the non-interactive session.
In general it seems like it mostly works, however, when the interactive session is open I get inconsistent results from JTAG-AXI Master. When the interactive session is not open, the JTAG-AXI master operations work correctly and consistently. I am trying to figure out if these two instances are possibly stepping on each other and how to avoid that.
I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
